HOW DO I SECURE MY BOOKING?
To secure your booking simply book online or call us on 0401 756 551, if your booking is more than one week away we will charge a 10% non-refundable deposit to secure the booking and will charge the balance 7 days before your stay. If your booking is within one week we will charge the full amount when the booking is made. If your booking is at a discounted rate, this is a non-refundable booking. The total price of the booking will be charged when the reservation is made.
How can I enter the building if I arrive late at night?
At One of a Kind Apartments we have a security keypad entry system, this means you are able to enter and leave the building at anytime after check-in. We will send you an email and text message with your unique four-digit code ahead of your arrival, simply enter this code into the keypad next to the doors into the building and this will allow you access.
Where can I park my car?
We have a secure undercover car park, and each service apartment is allocated one car space. To enter the car park, simply enter your four-digit code into the yellow box on the right-hand side of the driveway, drive down the driveway when the roller door has opened and park in the car space with the same number as your apartment. If you have more than one car, feel free to park on the street out the front of the apartments, please be aware of the parking signs.
Can I park my big recreational vehicle on-site?
We have a 2.1 M height limit in the basement and such vehicles are able to park on the street, which is very close and safe.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 2pm and check-out is at 10am. If you require an earlier check-in please let us know, we may not always be able to accommodate your request, but we will try our best to do so. If you would like a late check-out you can add this on to your booking upon making a reservation. A late check-out of 12pm costs $20.00 and 1pm costs $40.00. If you would like a late check-out you need to let us know at least 24 hours prior to your check-out as we need to organise this with our cleaner. If you check-out later than 10am or your organised late check-out you will be charged an extra $50 late check-out fee.
We would really appreciate it if you left the apartment as you found it, by stacking the dish washer or doing the dishes. The waste enclosure is located at the back of the building if you would like to take your rubbish and compost out, otherwise we are happy to take care of this for you. If the apartment is left in a very poor condition we do charge an extra cleaning fee. Please let us know if there has been any damages or breakages during your stay, we do understand about general wear and tear, but damage to the building will incur a damage change.
Is there a cost for extra bedding?
Yes, there is a $30/night cost to use extra bedding. Extra bedding will not be supplied unless it has been booked and paid for.
Is there a cost for children?
We can supply a cot, free of charge, subject to availability. If you're children require additional bedding to what is set up in the apartment, there is a $30/night cost to use extra bedding. Extra bedding will not be supplied unless it has been booked and paid for.
Do the apartments have internet access?
Yes, all of our serviced apartments have access to free Wi-Fi. There is a card in each apartment highlighting the login details, you will also receive a text message prior to your stay with these details.
Do the apartments have cooking facilities?
Yes, all of the serviced apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, including an oven, cook top, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, and all the cooking essentials needed to make a delicious home cooked meal.
Can you cater for special needs?

Can I choose which apartment I get?
Through booking on our website, you can choose which type of apartment you will stay in (1-bedroom apartment, 2-bedroom apartment and 2-bedroom terrace), however, it is a lucky draw which specific apartment you will get. All of our serviced apartments in Dickson are lovely, but if you really want to stay in a particular apartment please call us on 0401756551 and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Do you have a cheaper rate for long stays?
Yes we do, please have a look at the prices page on our website for longer stay rates. If you are thinking of booking for a longer stay, please get in contact and we can put together a quote for your stay.
When do the apartments get serviced?
For all stays longer than a week, we provide a weekly service. After making your booking, we can organise a convenient day and time for our cleaner to service your apartment.
Do you have a credit card surcharge?
We do not charge a credit card surcharge for MASTERCARD and VISA card payments. However, AMEX and Diners Club cards incur a 3.35% surcharge. To avoid this fee, please pay either by MASTERCARD, VISA or by direct deposit when booking.
How can I pay by direct deposit?
If you would like to pay by direct deposit, you must make sure your booking is made at least 2 weeks ahead of when you are staying, as the payment must be in our account 7 days prior to your stay. Book through our website, and fill in your details and credit card details as normal, and then in the notes section write that you would like to pay by direct deposit and state the date that you have transferred the money. It is a good idea to also keep a record of this, just in case something happens. Please also send notification of this transfer from your bank to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Do you have smoking rooms?
All of the serviced apartments are NON-SMOKING. All apartments have an outdoor balcony or courtyard area and ashtrays are provided for smoking, however if smoking outside, the door must be completely closed. If you smoke in the apartment an extra cleaning fee will be charged starting from $300.00.
What is the cancellation policy?
If cancelled or modified up to 7 days before arrival, your 10% booking deposit will not be refunded. You may be able to change the arrival date, subject to availability. If cancelled within 7 days of arrival date, you will be charged the full amount of the first changed or cancelled night, in addition to the non-refundable 10%. In the case of a no-show, the total price of the full reservation will be charged.
Please note all discounted rates are non-refundable, no refunds will be given for cancellations.
